2025 Attorneys of the Year

Minnesota Lawyer is proud to recognize the instrumental work of attorneys across the state with our Attorneys of the Year award. This award shines a light on attorneys who have made an impact on the Minnesota legal community over the last year. 

The following categories — diversity & inclusion; groups; individuals; nonprofit & government; outstanding service to the profession; personal injury; pro bono; and teams of two — offer insight into the level of expertise and commitment Minnesota attorneys bring to the table every day.

This year’s honorees were especially influential in protecting the state’s most vulnerable populations. From defending immigration matters and transgender rights to securing wrongful death verdicts and fraud convictions, the cases you will read about here may set precedents and lead to better protections in the future.

Our honorees this year also include a group of attorneys that are being recognized for their service to the industry. Their dedication to the law and leadership qualities have ignited a spark in so many that have and will come after.

The attorneys recognized here specialize in all sectors of the legal field. We’re honored to put a spotlight on another year of impressive work by some of Minnesota’s best attorneys.

The honorees were feted at a Feb. 5 networking and awards event held at Quincy Hall in northeast Minneapolis.
