The legal profession is built on dedication, resilience and service, and those qualities shine through in the honorees featured in this section.

Each of our Up & Coming Attorneys and Unsung Legal Heroes brings a unique perspective and skill set to the work, yet they share a common commitment: guiding and supporting others through some of life’s most challenging circumstances.

The individuals in this section are responsible for assisting businesses from the startup stage through succession planning, being a voice for immigrants who are warranted fair treatment and due process, ensuring a group of people isn’t taken advantage of because of a language barrier, and so much more. These legal professionals are dedicated experts in and out of the courtroom.

This year’s Up & Coming Attorneys and Unsung Legal Heroes were selected by an independent panel. The Up & Coming Attorneys honorees are in their first decade of practice and were chosen for excellence in their field and adherence to the highest values of the profession. The Unsung Heroes — the paralegals, IT professionals, investigators and more — are the people who keep the office running and ensure the attorneys have the information and resources they need to serve a firm’s clients.

The honorees were recognized at an awards luncheon on Friday, Sept. 12, at The Mosaic in Minneapolis.
