Tiffany Strother found her home-away-from-home when she joined Keller, Woods & Thompson, P.A. as a front desk receptionist at just 19 years old. Over the years, Strother has been promoted to legal assistant, then paralegal, and now serves as the firm’s office manager and senior paralegal to Managing Partner Lindsay Keller.

“Her evolution within the firm is a testament to her unwavering dedication, her willingness to take on any challenge, and her deep understanding of the legal field,” Keller said of Strother. “She handles all human resources matters with sensitivity and professionalism, manages IT issues large and small, and was instrumental in overseeing a complete overhaul of our legal software system — a transition that was incredibly complex and would have been unmanageable without her organization and persistence.”

In addition to her office management duties, Strother continues to carry a full paralegal caseload that includes high-stakes files involving wrongful death, severe injuries and catastrophic loss.

One of Strother’s biggest office projects has been overseeing an overhaul of the firm’s software system in which her organization and persistence were vital. She’s also continuing to serve as Keller’s paralegal while learning how to be the firm’s administrative and human resources leader.

“Attorneys don’t like change,” Strother said. “It was a big project, but I like learning new things.”

Speaking of learning new things, outside of the office Strother is learning about being a new business owner. She and her husband have spent the last year building their food truck Garrulous Gourmet into a thriving small business. The menu is pure Midwestern fare: burgers, cheese curds, chicken tender wraps, fries and more.

“We bought the trailer on a whim,” she said. “But we want to build it into something that we can pass on to our daughters.”
