Unemployment Benefits Employment Misconduct

Relator challenged the unemployment-law judge’s (ULJ’s) determination that he was ineligible for unemployment benefits because he was discharged for employment misconduct. Relator was terminated for using a closed bridge and for leaving his scheduled work shift but not seeking medical care as directed. The Court of Appeals concluded that relator committed employment misconduct. Affirmed.
