SD 50 DFLers pull Chaudhary’s endorsement, back Goodwin
On Monday night, DFLers in Senate District 50 took away their endorsement of Sen. Satveer Chaudhary. He says he'll run in the August 10 primary against the candidate now endorsed in his place, former state Rep. Barb Goodwin.

In the wake of Sen. Satveer Chaudhary's ethics brouhaha, DFLers in Senate District 50 will gather on Monday night to decide whether they’ll strip away the endorsement they gave to Chaudhary on March 13.
Ethics committee: Chaudhary’s conduct ‘threatened public confidence’ in Legislature
Sen. Satveer Chaudhary did not have a conflict of interest in advancing a proposal to improve fishing on a lake where he owns a cabin, the Senate's Subcommittee on Ethical Conduct determined Wednesday afternoon. However, the four-member panel also ruled that the Fridley DFLer's actions "threatened public confidence" in the Legislature.
Senate ethics committee considers ‘advice’ for Chaudhary
Sen. Satveer Chaudhary defended his efforts to improve fishing conditions on a lake where he owns a cabin during a 90-minute hearing before the Senate's Subcommittee on Ethical Behavior on Wednesday morning. Ultimately, the meeting ended without resolution. The committee adjourned until 3 p.m. in order to allow staff time to further work on language in a letter to Chaudhary.
