Cortney LeNeave and his brother Randy LeNeave have worked to continue the history of the former DeParq law firm on behalf of injured railroad workers. LeNeave and his team’s dedication continue to result in record setting results for their clients. One such case involved a worker who suffered a horrific wrongful death and another case of serious injury where the worker suffered a traumatic brain injury. In another case against a very large railroad, LeNeave and his team of Thomas Fuller and Isabel Johnson were able to prove the railroad had “mismanaged” or even deliberately altered evidence. In 2023, an Iowa federal judge awarded LeNeave’s client a default judgment, attorney fees and damages for spoliation of evidence

LeNeave and his firm believe that building a strong case against the opponent and negotiating from a position of strength is the best way to achieve outstanding settlements and verdicts. “It is important that the opponent knows the lawyer is willing and able to go to trial and win,” LeNeave said.  He also has said for a long time he didn’t go to law school to settle cases — he wants to get in the courtroom and truly help his clients when needed. This includes those instances when the opponent is “too big to care.”
