Michelle Anderson named to 6th District bench

Listen to this articleMichelle M. Anderson has been named to the 6th Judicial District bench, to be chambered in Virginia in St. Louis County. She replaces Judge James Florey, who has joined the Minnesota Court of Appeals.
Anderson is the Range Division Head in the St. Louis County Attorney’s Office, where she supervises attorneys and criminal caseloads in both Hibbing and Virginia offices. Previously, she was an Assistant St. Louis County Attorney, associate attorney at Prebich and Sullivan, P.C., and a judicial law clerk to Judge Gary J. Pagliaccetti, 6th Judicial District. She earned both her B.A. and J.D. from the University of North Dakota.
