Listen to this articleWhere the prosecutor asked an officer a question about the circumstances of entry and arrest; in a multisentence response, the officer made one statement suggesting that defendant had a violent background such that the officers wanted their “guns out”; and the statement was isolated; we conclude that although the officer’s statement was inadmissible character evidence, it is unlikely that it had any effect on the jury verdict, particularly in view of the strong evidence against defendant.
We reject the additional claims of error.
Affirmed.
