Robert Russell has practiced real estate, estate planning, business and bankruptcy law in the Fergus Falls area for more than four decades. The attorney and founder of Robert L. Russell, Attorney at Law has served as examiner of titles for Otter Tail County since 1994 and has been a member of the Committee on Title Standards, Real Property Section of the Minnesota State Bar Association since 1998.

Russell is a vocal advocate for expanding legal access in real estate matters, expressing concern that many people who need assistance with real estate transactions do not seek out attorneys — whether due to cost, limited legal aid resources, or a declining number of attorneys practicing in the field. Jonathan Septer, partner and chair of the Real Estate Group at Maslon LLP, represents developers, closely held and institutional investors, and businesses across all aspects of the commercial and agricultural real estate life cycle. His transactional practice encompasses acquisitions and dispositions, borrower-side financing and refinancing, commercial leasing, land use, real estate development, 1031 exchanges, title and survey due diligence, and environmental and regulatory compliance.

Lica Tomizuka has spent more than two decades helping shape the commercial real estate landscape of the Twin Cities and beyond. Alyssa M.
