Kara K. Rahimi is senior counsel at Ciresi Conlin LLP, where her practice focuses on nursing home abuse and negligence, personal injury and professional malpractice.
Rahimi earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in American Indian Studies from the University of Minnesota in December 1998. She then spent seven years working in a pathology office, ultimately becoming a forensic investigator. She went on to earn her law degree from Hamline University School of Law cum laude, where she served as an associate editor on the law review.
Her background as a forensic pathology investigator has made her integral to the forensic analysis of complex medical and legal issues. She has published her research methodology in Trial Magazine and has given presentations across the country on using technology to conduct medical research for analyzing complex medical literature. She has served as an appointed member of the Hennepin County Citizens Review Panel and is a member of the Minnesota Association of Justice nursing home litigation committee.
