Born and raised in St. Cloud, Michael Hall III has Hall Law P.A. offices there and in Minneapolis and Edina. The firm’s website is replete with six- and seven-figure judgments and settlements. Hall’s current case load is full of a variety of matters.
One is Doe v. USFS (a civil case which looks at the role U.S. Figure Skating played in allowing the sexual abuse of a child skater sexually abused by a United States Figure Skating coach, Thomas Incantalupo.)
Hall also has other cases set for trial. In Vouk v. CenterPoint Energy Resources Corp. a house exploded due to a gas leak 7 hours after CenterPoint Energy gave the “all clear” on the house. The client was at his kitchen table when the house exploded and came down on top of him. He sustained multiple injuries including a traumatic brain injury.
Investigations are underway involving Polaris ATV occupant safety design defects, Ski Doo Snowmobile throttle malfunctions, CAT Skid loader back-up cameras, and infant bassinet design defects.
Hall has also represented inured people who require radio frequency neuropathy (RFN) treatment, where a doctor cauterizes injured nerves. It is used to treat injuries that occur to the spine but often do not show up on x-rays. It is expensive and must be used every few years. One case resulted in a RFN-related verdict of $620,000 where the plaintiff had been in pain from an accident for five years. “The defense thinks it will magically go away,” Hall said. “Our claim to fame is showing that the facet joint injuries are just as bad as others,” he said. Juries don’t do that very often with this type of injury, Hall said.
But this jury believed the injuries were real and connected to the accident.
It is the third largest RFN verdict in the state. The other two were Hall Law verdicts of $798,000 and $865,000.
He also has settled for top results in other car accident cases, including a rear-end MVA/whiplash mild TBI case for $1.35 million, a MVA — RFN for $500k and another MVA — RFN for $490k
