Daniel Rosen and Andrew Parker say they’ve had the easiest of law firm breakups, which is coming to a head right now. Rosen has become the managing partner of the new Minneapolis office of Kluger, Kaplan, Silverman, Katzen & Levine, a/k/a Kluger Kaplan, a Miami firm.
“There hasn’t been the slightest bit of drama” over the change in the firm, Rosen said. He explained that he wanted to be with a national firm and Parker didn’t, so two new law firms emerged.
“We’re still the closest of friends, personally and professionally,” said Andrew Parker, noting that they are still doing a radio show together.
They are also sharing a website right now at parkerrosen.com. One employee lost her job but the rest of the lawyers are working, Parker said, and he hopes to rehire the absent receptionist someday.
Parker’s new firm is Parker Daniels Kibort, where the other lawyers are Christopher M. Daniels, Jesse H. Kibort, Anthony G. Edwards and Frederick C. Brown, of counsel. Mark Kiperstin is with Rosen in that new firm, which officially opens May 9.
