Appellant challenged the summary-judgment dismissal of this purported class-action lawsuit alleging that respondents violated Minn. Stat. sec. 325G.53 by issuing car-wash codes that expire. The Court of Appeals concluded that a car-wash code that a gas station provides on a receipt when the customer purchases a certain type of car wash does not satisfy the definition of “gift certificate” under Minn. Stat. sec 325G.53, subd. 1(a). Affirmed.
