Vincent P. Martin is the owner and principal attorney at Martin Law, where he heads the firm’s immigration practice group. Prior to founding Martin Law, he served as the lead immigration attorney at one of the state’s 50 largest law firms.

Martin earned a bachelor’s degree in speech communication from the University of Minnesota and his law degree from William Mitchell College of Law in St. Paul. He is licensed to practice in Minnesota, the Eighth Circuit Court of Appeals, the U.S. District Court of Minnesota and federal immigration court.

His practice covers employer and business immigration, family-based sponsorship, student visas, asylum and deportation defense. He also serves as an expert witness on immigration law matters for other attorneys.

Martin is a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association and serves as a liaison between the AILA Minnesota/Dakotas chapter and U.S. Customs and Border Protection. He has presented on immigration topics at the Minnesota State Bar Association, the Upper Midwest Immigration Conference and the Minnesota Family Law Institute.
