The Hennepin County Bar Association (HCBA) has announced its board. At the helm is Norman Pentelovitch, the association’s 108th president.
“I am honored to lead the HCBA at a moment when the legal profession, and the communities we live in, are looking to bar associations for leadership on the most critical issues facing our society,” said Pentelovitch. More than ever, bar associations are seen as apolitical, professional organizations advocating for the principles and standards of the legal profession. I look forward to continuing HCBA’s leadership in this community.”
Pentelovitch is a graduate of the Georgetown University Law Center and The George Washington University. He was most recently director and assistant general counsel, Enterprise Risk Management, at 3M. Pentelovitch is joining a leading international law firm as a partner in their Minneapolis office.
Pentelovitch has been an active member of HCBA since 2017. Since 2019, he has been and a member of the association’s board of directors since 2019. His year-long term began July 1, 2026.
The rest of the HCBA executive committee for the 2026-2027 bar year includes Nicholas Ryan (president-elect), Ryan McCarthy (secretary/treasurer), and Jessica Klander (past president). Austyn Boothe has a one-year term as New Lawyers Section representative.
