Dorsey & Whitney LLP Partner Erin Bryan chairs the firm’s Consumer Financial Services Group and is a member of its Finance & Restructuring Practice Group. She focuses on regulatory, compliance and default solutions for financial services clients, drawing on prior in-house experience at one of the nation’s largest banks.
Bryan’s regulatory and compliance practice spans anti-money laundering, fair lending, digital assets, earned wage access products, buy now pay later products, mortgage origination and servicing, privacy and government examination and enforcement. Her default and bankruptcy practice includes bankruptcy litigation, lien enforcement, secured creditor remedies and out-of-court commercial workouts.
Her representative experience includes serving as lead counsel on regulatory inquiries into consumer bankruptcy servicing practices, providing legal support in resolving mortgage servicing-related consent orders with the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency and the Federal Reserve, and directing development of fee matrices covering 94 jurisdictions.
Bryan regularly speaks to national audiences on emerging issues facing financial institutions and contributes analysis to leading industry publications.
