Jenny Gassman-Pines is an attorney at Greene Espel PLLP where she focuses on complex commercial litigation, employment disputes, and antitrust matters.

Gassman-Pines represents Fortune 500 corporations in high-stakes business disputes, defending discrimination claims, conducting internal investigations into workplace misconduct, and representing executives through employment transitions. In the past year, she led her team to a complete defense verdict in a two-week discrimination jury trial in Minnesota state court and served as lead appellate counsel in a precedent-setting victory before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eighth Circuit.

She is a co-founder of Greene Espel’s Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion practice, and has represented survivors of sexual assault and relational abuse in Title IX proceedings and subsequent litigation. She also partnered with the ACLU of Minnesota to represent an American-born military veteran whose U.S. passport had been denied.

Before joining Greene Espel, Gassman-Pines clerked for Chief Justice Russell Anderson of the Minnesota Supreme Court.

Karla Gluek, a founding member of Gustafson Gluek PLLC, has practiced antitrust, consumer protection, product defect and complex litigation since 1995. In 2003, she co-founded the firm with Dan Gustafson and served as firm manager from 2020 to 2024.
Gluek has litigated against some of the country’s largest corporations, including Medtronic, Syngenta, 3M and the NFL. She was part of the trial team in In re Syngenta Litigation, which settled for more than $1 billion, and oversaw the seven-year claims period following the $220 million settlement in In re Medtronic Inc. Sprint Fidelis Leads Product Liability Litigation. She currently serves as part of the leadership team in In re Change Healthcare, Inc. Customer Data Security Breach Litigation.
Gluek is a graduate of William Mitchell College of Law, where she earned her degree cum laude, and clerked for the Honorable Gary Larson in the Fourth Judicial District of Minnesota. She is an active member of the Federal Bar Association and Minnesota Women’s Lawyers, and serves on the board of the Mid-Minnesota Fund for Legal Aid.

Michelle S. Grant, partner at Dorsey & Whitney LLP, co-chairs the firm’s Minneapolis Trial Group.

She focuses her practice on complex health care and securities litigation, representing corporate clients in dozens of class actions and other complex matters in federal and state courts and in arbitration proceedings throughout the United States.

Among her notable matters, Grant represented a health insurer and its board of directors in State of Minnesota v. Medica Health Plans, regulatory litigation involving board governance issues brought by the Minnesota Attorney General. The Minnesota Court of Appeals reversed the district court’s decision granting the state affirmative relief, ultimately resulting in dismissal of all claims.

Dan Gustafson is a founding member of Gustafson Gluek PLLC where he has spent his career representing individuals and small businesses in antitrust, consumer protection and complex litigation. He graduated cum laude from the University of Minnesota Law School and clerked for Judge Diana Murphy in the Minnesota federal district court.

Gustafson has been named lead or co-lead counsel in numerous significant cases. He currently serves as overall lead counsel in In re Change Healthcare, Inc. Customer Data Security Breach Litigation. He served as co-lead counsel and trial counsel in In re Broiler Chicken Antitrust Litigation and as co-lead counsel in the 3M Combat Arms Earplugs cases, which resulted in more than $6 billion recovered for more than 250,000 injured individuals.

Gustafson has testified before Congress and the Commission on Antitrust Modernization and taught as an adjunct professor at the University of Minnesota Law School. He also played a central role in founding the Minnesota Federal Bar Association’s Pro Se Project.

Joshua Hasko is president and shareholder at Messerli Kramer where he has also served as chair of the business litigation department and as an active member of the firm’s board of directors. He earned his law degree cum laude from William Mitchell College of Law.
Hasko concentrates his practice on complex commercial disputes, with an emphasis on contract and business tort litigation, creditor remedies, Uniform Commercial Code disputes including equipment leasing and secured transactions, fiduciary duty and shareholder claims, and real estate litigation. He practices in state and federal courts, bankruptcy courts, appellate courts and arbitration proceedings.
In addition to maintaining a full caseload, Hasko has led the firm as president for more than six years while serving as a mentor to junior attorneys and contributing to nonprofit boards. He is known among colleagues and clients for providing steady counsel in high-stakes litigation matters.

Mark L. Johnson, an attorney at Greene Espel PLLP, practices in complex commercial litigation and arbitration for sophisticated businesses and individuals.
Johnson has tried more than 10 cases to verdict before juries, arbitrators, and judges. His practice spans enforcement of contractual, fiduciary, and tort duties; trade secrets, trademarks, and other intellectual property; professional liability; construction; and cross-border business disputes. Among his notable matters, he won a federal jury verdict for a wholesale distributor of hand sanitizer in a breach-of-contract action and successfully defended the verdict on appeal to the Eighth Circuit, and defended Honeywell in a $20-plus million contract suit, defeating all claims and securing $1.5 million on counterclaim on summary judgment.
Johnson also maintains an active pro bono practice focused on securing immigration protections, including Special Juvenile Protection and asylum, for unaccompanied minors.
Before practicing law, Johnson taught philosophy at Purdue University. He clerked for Hon. Diana E. Murphy of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eighth Circuit.
