Dayton urges stadium authority to limit Wilfs’ PSL fees

Dayton issued a letter to "strongly urge" the Minnesota Sports Facilities Authority not allow Vikings team owners Mark and Zygi Wilf to pay for large amounts of their share of the stadium costs with personal seat licenses. The authority and the Vikings are negotiating the terms of the team's lease and financing for the downtown Minneapolis stadium that is expected to break ground this fall.

Final vote on stadium agreements delayed

The Minnesota Vikings franchise and the public authority that will own its new home are working to break ground on the downtown Minneapolis stadium later this year. But Gov. Mark Dayton’s call for an inquiry into the team’s finances is complicating an already difficult set of negotiations over final agreements for the use and financing of the stadium.
