The Obama campaign in Minnesota said Monday morning that it would unveil a list of participants in a so-called Truth Team.

Former congressman J.C. Watts stopped by Fabulous Fern's in St. Paul on Friday evening to stump for GOP presidential hopeful Newt Gingrich ahead of Tuesday's caucuses.

Obama's approval rating is still at just 49 percent, with 45 percent disapproving the job he's done in the White House. Last May, his approval rating was 51 percent.

After a poor showing in the Iowa caucuses, Bachmann ended her bid for the GOP nomination.

Bachmann's popularity continues to wane in Wisconsin, too. At just 5 percent in now, the last PPP survey pegged her support at 20 percent.

A handful of recent polls show that while Texas Gov. Rick Perry's support is sliding, the movement has not been to the benefit of Minnesota's Michele Bachmann.

Former Gov. Tim Pawlenty has endorsed Mitt Romney in the race for the 2012 Republican presidential nomination and will serve as co-chair of his national campaign.

In results published Tuesday morning, the MN GOP's straw poll shows Bachmann gaining 2,300 votes of the total 7,731 cast -- or just under 30 percent.

New survey results give Perry a commanding 36 percent showing, a 20-point lead over his next-closest rival Mitt Romney. Minnesota's Michele Bachmann came in at third at just 9 percent.

A poll shows Perry with 29 percent support among likely GOP primary voters. Mitt Romney saw 18 percent support in the poll. Bachmann clocked in at 13 percent.
