Wading into Minnesota’s high-risk insurance pool
One of the least contentious issues in the long, blistering debate over national health care reform has been ensuring that patients with pre-existing conditions are able to purchase health insurance. In Minnesota, those patients can already purchase coverage today through a high-risk insurance pool – a nonprofit called the Minnesota Comprehensive Health Association (MCHA).
