Bowman and Brooke LLP
Rachel Czech loves her digital marketing job at Bowman and Brooke, but even more, she enjoys getting to know her colleagues beyond their job titles.
“It’s good to know the work someone does, but I think it’s better to know the person behind the work,” she said. “I try to help organize firm sports teams, trash pickups and other volunteer events.”
She works on the firm’s website, webinars, social media and email marketing campaigns. Over five-plus years there, she’s become savvy with each of the firm’s communication tools, including HubSpot for email campaigns, Sitecore for the firm’s website, SharePoint for the Intranet and GoToWebinar and Teams for webinars and online meetings, along with the usual social media outlets.
“This was my first position in the legal field,” said Czech. “I had friends who had worked at Bowman and Brooke, so I had a good feeling when I applied.”
Czech has also taken on the task of attorney bios for new lawyers who don’t know where to start telling their story. She also does intranet articles for directors and firm leaders, emails, announcements and invitations for various audiences inside and outside the firm. Her design skills augment the work done by Bowman’s full-time graphic designer.
During the COVID-19 pandemic, Czech played a key role in getting everyone comfortable with using Zoom and Teams for meetings, CLEs and other internal programs.
She also works directly with the partners to create a monthly CLE program for Bowman associates on a variety of topics. One result of that is that other committee leaders have reached out to her to lead their programs, including the Women’s Committee, which launched a leadership series that Czech essentially runs.
