That alone makes her a hero to her colleagues.
How and when did you know you wanted to pursue a career in the legal field?
I worked at a finance company in HR for 20 years. After they closed because of the economic downturn, I got [a] job at PFB. It was just heaven, because now I’m in the field I’ve always wanted to be in.
What do you find the most rewarding or love best about working in the legal profession?
Everything. It’s the variety, the challenge, the “how can we solve this problem.”
What inspires you and motivates you to achieve your goals?
In the world we’re in now, I want to keep people safe, so I’m going to go to the office and do whatever you need me to do so we can get the work done, and keep people safe.
What’s the best piece of advice that you ever received?
That would be from my mother. She told us long ago, don’t worry until you have something to worry about, and then when you do, make plan and execute it. And it really has helped. I don’t worry about things. It’s really gotten me through a lot.
What is something that most people don’t know about you?
I like Garth Brooks and cheesy romance movies. Come Christmas, the Hallmark Channel and I are best friends, and it’s a challenge to find the worst one.
