U.S. Attorney Erica MacDonald has been appointed to the Attorney General’s Advisory Committee. The AGAC represents the voice of the U.S. Attorneys and provides advice and counsel to the Attorney General on policy, management, and operational issues impacting U.S. Attorneys’ Offices. “The U.S. Attorneys who comprise the Attorney General’s Advisory Committee play a critical role in carrying out the Department of Justice’s important work, including its efforts to reduce violent crime, combat the opioid crisis, protect the most vulnerable, and enforce the rule of law,” said U.S. Attorney General William Barr in a statement issued on Sept. 23.
