“I realized how important lawyers can be for businesses, and specially for entrepreneurs,” she said. “That’s what made me decide to follow the family path.”
Now an associate attorney with Henson Efron, Plunkett specializes in business law and real estate practice, where she brings an innate curiosity and creativity to the role.
With a broadening range of exposure to various types of businesses, she’s become adept at providing a fresh perspective and new solutions to her clients. She enjoys finding new ways to apply resources, tools, and ideas to solve challenging problems for clients, and doing so in a way that works for cash-strapped entrepreneurs as well as larger businesses.
“One of the most satisfying and rewarding parts of what I do is brainstorming ideas that can help business owners find a way to make things work,” she said.
Plunkett has taken on high-profile real estate deals involving complex title and environmental issues, and she is known for a collaborative approach with other attorneys that results in meeting client needs.
She has also been at the forefront of helping attorneys understand changes in the law for LLC formation, leading multiple seminars for Minnesota Continuing Legal Education before the law took effect.
Considering that she only started practicing law in 2015, Plunkett’s ability to hit the ground running has made her a notable one-to-watch attorney in the Twin Cities.
