In the last three years alone, Lind has worked on over $10 billion in client portfolio deal work under time, confidentiality, and deal specific constraints, Lavoie said.
“If a great legal administrator is worth her weight in gold, then Ashley is the equivalent of having Fort Knox on your team,” principal Teresa Lavoie said. “She is the one who handles the myriad tasks that must be done to keep my startup biotech practice moving forward aggressively and competitively.”
Lind coordinates travel, manages calendars and meetings, handles billing and expenses, produces reports, tracks deadlines, drafts waivers, and assists with compiling pitch materials, among other responsibilities.
Colleagues of Lind and attorneys frequently praise her ability to read their minds by seeing what is needed for any given project, big or small, without being told.
“I really enjoy problem-solving, being proactive, and trying to see ahead,” said Lind, who has been with Fish for six years. “You have to think of both the future and now.”
Beyond typical administrative work, Lind also plays a pivotal role in the firm’s business development efforts.
“Seeing all the new work come in is very exciting,” Lind said. “It gives me a chance to organize and know I’m a part of some- thing beyond any day-to-day task.”
