Megan Connolly’s career has been on meteoric ascent since she joined Fish & Richardson in 2012.
She joined the firm as a human resources generalist, has been promoted several times, and is now the human resources manager for the entire firm — 11 U.S. offices and one in Munich.
Under Connolly’s supervision, the firm has stepped up its efforts to recruit talented administrative staff, including the creation of a separate, “administrative careers” section on the firm’s website. She is also closely involved with the firm’s IT department in updating its internal FishNet, and handles training of all new managers.
“I really enjoy the people at the firm,” she says. “That probably sounds corny, but it really is the truth. We have a great set of administrative managers I get to work with every day on the nonlegal side, who are just wonderful, and on the legal side, we have some of the best and the brightest in the business.”
“I focus on trying to foster partnerships and relationships with everyone at the firm,” Connolly says. “My goal every day is to understand the needs of our employees and the legal industry and how to balance those in order to create a really good experience for our employees.”
