The Wisconsin-based law firm of DeWitt Ross & Stevens S.C., and its Minneapolis affiliate DeWitt Mackall Crounse & Moore S.C., has announced that attorneys Mark J. Kalla and Alyssa M. Troje joined its Minneapolis office.Kalla practices in the areas of banking, bankruptcy and commercial litigation.  He earned his J.D. from the University of Minnesota Law School and his B.S. from Saint John’s University.

Troje practices in the areas of real estate, corporate, estate planning, and probate law.   Troje earned her J.D. from the University of St. Thomas School of Law and her B.A. from the University of Minnesota.

Fox Rothschild LLP recently elevated 19 associates to partner throughout its national network of offices. The announcement comes on the heels of the firm’s elevation of four counsel to partner for a total of 23 new partners this year.

Included are two new partners from the firm’s Minneapolis office, Tyler K. Olson and Elizabeth A. Patton.

Attorney Evan J. Skaar joins Fredrikson & Byron as an associate in the Mergers  & Acquisitions and Private Equity Groups.  Prior to joining Fredrikson & Byron, he practiced corporate law in New York City. Skaar received his J.D. from New York University School of Law.

Attorney Kristin LeBre has joined Fredrikson & Byron as counsel in the firm’s Employment & LaborLabor Management Relations and Internal Investigations Groups.

 

International law firm Dorsey & Whitney LLP is pleased to announce that Erin Bryan, an attorney in the Minneapolis office, has been elected chair of the Minnesota Lavender Bar Association (MLBA), a nonprofit organization of legal professionals who are members or allies of Minnesota’s lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender (LGBT) community.
