People and Practices: March 15

 Fish & Richardson has named Dr. Angela Follett, Chris Hoff, and Jennifer Huang as principals in the firm’s Patent Group in Twin Cities.Dr. Angela Follett works with a range of clients, from startup and emerging companies to academic and research institutions in the areas of life sciences, chemistry, and pharmaceuticals with a practice focusing on patent prosecution, portfolio development advice, and strategic patent counseling.

Chris Hoff focuses his practice on patent portfolio development and management, patent prosecution, and post-grant proceedings for a wide variety of clients, ranging from individual inventors and startups to large technology companies.

Jennifer Huang assists clients in various aspects of maintaining and enforcing IP rights, including patent prosecution, patent reexamination, due diligence, and litigation.


Tammera R. Diehm has been elected to the Winthrop & Weinstine Board of Directors. In addition, David Aafedt and Jon Hoganson were re-elected to the board. The other board members for 2018 are:  Scott Dongoske, president, and Norman Jones, Matthew McBride, Devan Padmanabhan,Todd Urness and Robert Weinstine.



Jeffrey Shea has joined the law firm of Monroe Moxness Berg as a shareholder in the firm’s Real Estate practice group. Shea has 25 years of experience in corporate real estate, primarily as associate general counsel at U.S. Bank.



Mark A. Jacobson has joined Cozen O’Connor, in its Commercial Litigation Department’s business litigation group. Jacobson comes to the firm from Minneapolis-based Lindquist & Vennum LLP, where he chaired the litigation department.
