Former Supreme Court Justice Helen Meyer was presented with the University of Minnesota’s Outstanding Achievement Award on Wednesday, Oct. 25 at the campus.
The Outstanding Achievement Award is the highest nondegree award conferred upon distinguished alumni by the University of Minnesota. It recognizes graduates or former students of the University who have attained unusual distinction in their chosen fields or professions or in public service and who have demonstrated outstanding achievement and leadership on a community, state, national or international level.
Meyer earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from the university in 1976 and a J.D. from then William Mitchell College of Law in 1982.
