DeWitt Mackall Crounse & Moore S.C., an affiliate of DeWitt Ross & Stevens S.C., announced the addition of two attorneys, Catherine Krisik and John Thomas, to its Minneapolis office.

Krisik earned her J.D. from Southwestern University School of Law and her B.S. from the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh.

Thomas concentrates his practice in litigation, with an emphasis on construction, commercial and product liability litigation. He also has experience with secured transactions, creditors’ remedies and bankruptcy. He earned his J.D. from William Mitchell College of Law and his B.A. from Xavier University.


Lockridge Grindal Nauen announced the hiring of Andrea Travnicek, Ph.D. as manager of government relations & regulatory affairs in the firm’s Bismarck, North Dakota, office. Travnicek has served as a senior policy adviser to outgoing Gov. Jack Dalrymple and former Gov. John Hoeven.


Barnes & Thornburg LLP announced that Christopher Knapp was elected as partner in the firm’s Minneapolis office, effective Jan. 1.  Knapp will be a part of the firm’s finance, insolvency, and restructuring practice group.


Littler has added Kurt J. Erickson as a shareholder in the Minneapolis office. Erickson was previously a principal with Jackson Lewis P.C. and a long-time assistant attorney general in Minnesota. Erickson earned his J.D., cum laude, from the University of Minnesota Law School and his B.A., summa cum laude, from the University of Minnesota.
