CONSTITUTIONAL LAW First Amendment; Standing; License Plate Data

 

Where companies involved in the collection and dissemination of license-plate data sued Arkansas officials claiming that a state law restricting the use of automatic license plate reader systems violated their right to freedom of speech under the First Amendment, the judgment of dismissal is affirmed because there is no Article III case or controversy since the companies lacked standing to sue.Judgment is affirmed.
