Where plaintiff who was involved in an accident with a U.S. Postal Service tractor trailer brought a negligence claim under the Federal Tort Claims Act, judgment for the U.S. is affirmed because substantial evidence supported findings that the driver of plaintiff’s car had abruptly merged and stopped in front of the truck because she was distracted, so the plaintiff’s new trial motion was properly denied. Judgment is affirmed.
