Man ordered held after alleged threats in Islamic State case

A Minneapolis man has been ordered detained after authorities say he threatened law enforcement officers after six other men were arrested for allegedly trying to join the Islamic State group in Syria.

Nineteen-year-old Mahamed Abukar Said is charged with one count of impeding and retaliating against a federal law enforcement officer and one count of using interstate communications to make threats to injure. An FBI agent testified Wednesday that Said admitted to sending some tweets authorities viewed as threatening.
