Hatch, Swanson host $1,000-per-head fundraiser for Dayton

On Tuesday, Minnesota Attorney General Lori Swanson and former Attorney General Mike Hatch will host a fundraiser for Gov. Mark Dayton‘s re-election campaign at the Minneapolis Club. The cost of entry: $1,000 per person.

Apparently they aren’t expecting a huge crowd at that price tag. The invitation to the fundraiser indicates that capacity of the room is limited to 12 people.

“Because of the limitation in size, the luncheon should provide the opportunity for good discussion with Mark and Lori,” Hatch writes in the invite. (Click here to see the invitation.)

Dayton has stated that he will not pay for his re-election campaign out of his own pocket, as he has largely done in the past. Another Dayton fundraiser, sponsored by Planned Parenthood, is scheduled for Wednesday at the home of his chief of staff Tina Smith.
