Former Rep. Tom Rukavina is reportedly going to work for U.S. Rep. Rick Nolan.
The Duluth News Tribune is reporting the Iron Range stalwart who served 13 terms in the state House will work for the newly elected DFLer from Minnesota’s 8th Congressional District on mining, timber, tourism and other Iron Range-related issues.
Nolan has offices in Duluth and Brainerd. The paper said it’s unclear if Nolan plans to open an office on the Iron Range. Rukavina supported Nolan in his successful 2012 bid to oust GOP Congressman Chip Cravaack.
Good luck, Tom!
