Former Moore, Costello & Hart attorneys resurface at new firms

The Bloomington-based law firm of Larkin Hoffman announced earlier today that it had hired five former attorneys from Moore, Costello & Hart, the St. Paul law firm that closed unexpectedly last week.

The Moore Costello attorneys moving to Larkin Hoffman are:

• J. Patrick Plunkett, Corporate Law

• Phyllis Karasov, Labor and Employment Law

• Tara Mattessich, Tax, Trusts and Estate

• Brandi Kerber, Real Estate Law

• Andrew Moran, Business Litigation

Larkin Hoffman also announced it hired paralegal Anita Plunkett from the Moore firm.

Last week Heidi Neff Christianson and Susan Kratz joined Nilan Johnson Lewis in Minneapolis.

Former Moore Costello lawyer John Harens also announced that he is opening his own mediation and alternative dispute resolution firm in Minneapolis.

  1. Worked with Pat and Tara…Now i have a complete understanding why they closed the doors. These people do NOT know what they’re doing. Worked wiht many attorney’s over the years and never had a worse experience in my life.
