Fredrikson & Byron welcomes three new attorneys: James C. Brand, Peter Thomas and Laura J. Wanger.
Brand is a senior associate with the firm’s Bankruptcy Group; Thomas is an associate in the Intellectual Property Group; and Wanger is an associate for the Property Tax Appeals and Litigation Groups.
Brand has represented and advised small and large businesses, commercial lenders, and individuals in the areas of debtor/creditor law, bankruptcy, commercial litigation and related matters.
Thomas, a former compliance officer for a large medical device company, has experience preparing and prosecuting U.S. and foreign patent applications. He offers his clients a unique legal perspective; before becoming a lawyer, he worked as a senior engineering consultant for an international firm and as an engineer for the aerospace and automotive industries, including work on Air Force Two.
Wanger is an attorney with experience in litigation matters, property tax appeals and federal tax issues. Before joining Fredrikson & Byron, Wanger worked in commercial property management for seven years.
Fredrikson & Byron has re-elected William Brody, Clint Cutler, David Glaser and Ann Ladd to serve on its Board of Directors. They join Steve Dickinson, John Erhart, John Koneck, Steven Quam and Chairwoman Mary Ranum, who are currently serving board terms.
Dulce Foster was elected to the Fredrikson & Byron Foundation Board of Directors. Re-elected members of the board include attorneys Todd Wind and Jim Dorsey, joining current officers Adonis Neblett and Sue Steinwall.
