Biber ordered to pay $15 mill

Aaron Biber, the former treasurer of the Minnesota State Bar Association and an ex-lawyer at Minneapolis firm Gray Plant Mooty, was ordered to pay $15 million to the trust of a teenage boy he raped.

Hennepin County Judge Denise Reilly described Biber’s acts as “utterly intolerable to the civilized community.” The family of the boy, who was a friend of Biber’s son, sued Biber for assault, battery and emotional distress in2010. Biber was sentenced to 18 years in prison.

Attorneys for the boy say that Biber has the money and the judgment is not dischargeable should Biber file for bankruptcy.

  1. Is this guy the poster boy for narcissistic creepster or what? He seemingly had it ALL and just imploded, flushed it all down the toilet. Inexplicable! Biber is claiming poverty so this is likely a Monopoly money award for the kid. Hopefully this is the last we have to hear about this whole debacle. Hope the kid gets better and Biber’s family is recovering. One man wrecking crew.
