The First Congressional District race has gotten some attention from GOP-aligned groups recently as Republicans expand their list of takeover targets in anticipation of a wave year. The National Republican Congressional Committee is spending at least $100,000 on television ads in the district, and the American Action Network (headed by former U.S. Sen. Norm Coleman) is also running spots.

No polls looking at the congressional contest have been made public. But word out of the district is that SurveyUSA has been making calls in recent days and will be out with the results very shortly.
