JDs Rising is a new Minnesota Lawyer blog for the next generation of lawyers.

During their first years after law school, newer lawyers face many issues and challenges — and that’s never been truer than today. This blog is designed to provide those lawyers a forum to discuss what’s on their minds, pose questions, give answers and make their voices heard.

A cross-section of smart, talented and energetic young lawyers have generously agreed to participate as regular contributors to this exciting new project.

We also welcome comments from anyone who has something to add to the discussion – including other new lawyers, seasoned attorneys or judges offering the benefit of their advice and members of the general public.
