DFL-endorsed gubernatorial candidate Margaret Anderson Kelliher released her 2009 federal tax return this afternoon and called on her fellow candidates to do the same.

Kelliher and her husband, David Kelliher, filed last year’s taxes jointly and earned a combined $143,968 ($97,808 in taxable income), paying $16,257 in federal taxes.

The Kellihers gave $2,810 in charitable donations last year, the largest — $1,400 — to the Basilica of St. Mary.

“Minnesotans should know how their governor earns a living,” Kelliher said in a statement this afternoon. “This is a basic disclosure [that] all candidates for governor should be willing to make voluntarily.”
