Attorneys who secretly (or not so secretly) want to be rock stars are gearing up for the 2009 Attractive Nuisance Tour.
The annual event will take place in two weeks — Oct. 9th — at the Fine Line Cafe in Minneapolis. Traditionally, at least one member of each band has been a member of the legal community — an attorney, paralegal, etc.
In addition to the music, attendees can participate in a silent auction. This year, auction items will include a Timberwolves package (including tickets and a VIP suite); NFL items, handcrafted clothing, artwork and clocks, a Jayhawks CD set, and gift cards from Target, Home Depot, Theatre in the Round and other businesses.
Proceeds generated from tickets, sponsorships and silent auction sales go to the Hennepin County Bar Foundation and the Minnesota Justice Foundation. The event raised $40,000 for the two charities last year. Let’s hope this year is an even bigger success!
General admission tickets are $20 and VIP tickets are $60. For more information or tickets, click here.
