Big political news tonight on KSTP TV.
The first gubernatorial political poll of the 2010 election season, matching GOP Gov. Tim Pawlenty against the major officially announced (and not so officially announced) DFL candidates. The Survey USA poll asked respondents to choose between Pawlenty and the following DFL candidates:
Tom Bakk
Chris Coleman
Mark Dayton
Matt Entenza
Susan Gaertner
Margaret Kelliher
John Marty
RT Rybak
Paul Thissen
As I understand it, Survey USA was in the field before Pawlenty
announced his no shutdown, no special session, end-of-session plan.
Not surprisingly, some of the results will be broadcast byKSTP’s Tom Hauser at
6 p.m., and the rest, at 10 p.m (so we have to watch both newscasts in
sweeps week). We”ll have some analysis when we see the numbers.
