Robert A. Stein, of counsel with Gray Plant Mooty and a member of the firm’s trust, estate & charitable planning practice group, has been named chair of the International Bar Association’s Public and Professional Interest Division. Stein is the immediate past executive director and chief operating officer of the American Bar Association.

Frank M. Modich has become an associate with the Minneapolis office of Meagher & Geer P.L.L.P., joining the firm’s catastrophic loss practice group. Modich received his law degree from William Mitchell College of Law in 2005, his master’s degree in Chemistry from the University of Minnesota, Duluth, in 2002, and his bachelor’s degree in Cell Biology and Biochemistry/Molecular Biology from the University of Minnesota – Duluth, in 2000.

Ryan N. Boe, Joani C. Moberg and Rob A. Stefonowicz have been elected shareholders in Larkin Hoffman Daly & Lindgren Ltd. Boe is a member of the real estate and land use practice group. He received his B.A. from Augustana College in 1994 and his J.D. from the University of South Dakota School of Law in 1997. Moberg is a member of the family law practice group. She received her B.A. from Saint Olaf College in 1996 and her J.D. from Hamline University School of Law in 1999. Stefonowicz is a member of the real estate litigation practice group. He received his B.S. from North Dakota State University in 1996 and his J.D. from Hamline University School of Law in 1999.

Lucinda Jesson has joined Oppenheimer Wolff & Donnelly LLP as of counsel, practicing in the area of business litigation. While at Oppenheimer, Jesson will continue her work as an associate professor of law and director of the Hamline Health Law Institute. She earned her B.A. from the University of Arkansas and her J.D. from the University of Pennsylvania Law School.

Bassford Remele, P.A., has been awarded the Fast and Fabulous Award by the Greater Twin Cities United Way at its Best Of Awards Ceremony. The firm was recognized for its One Week Campaign, which included a variety of educational and fundraising events, as well as a community service project.
