Welcome to Solo Contendere, Minnesota Lawyer’s newest blog, a place for anyone who owns or works in a small law practice.
We recognize that solo practitioners and small firm lawyers face different challenges compared with their peers at large firms. In addition to the full-time work of practicing law, you also have to deal with all the pressure of running a small business, and there’s often no one to guide you through the process.
That’s where this blog comes in. It will be a free space for lawyers, written by lawyers. We want to put you in touch with your colleagues from all across Minnesota – people dealing with the same challenges, who have advice to offer, stories to share and who may need some advice themselves.
We have several practicing lawyers who contribute to this blog, but we’re always looking for more voices to make this a useful resource. If you’re interested, let us know.
