Fond as I am of Thom Pham’s wondrous Kannon Steak and Potatoes, it makes me sad to see him embroiled in a lawsuit with his attorneys over their fees. As the Star Tribune reports today, Pham and his companies allegedly owe Fruth, Jamison and Elsass about $88,000. Pham reportedly sued his sisters for stealing his money and his recipes, and that case was settled, leaving just one little detail to clear up – paying the lawyers. According to the Strib, Pham said the matter with his lawyers was settled but that wasn’t confirmed by the firm.
