We learned this week that Thomson Reuters is cutting back on its legal editorial staff.
According to a report in the Minneapolis-St. Paul Business Journal, the company is offering buyouts to 130 workers in its Legal Editorial Operations department, which has employees in Eagan and Rochester, N.Y.
A spokesperson for Thomson’s Eagan-based legal division said the buyouts will target publishing specialists, who assign keys to data and handle other tasks, as well as quality-assurance workers.
