I cam across an interesting article from Forbes on top-paying jobs for women. Women now account for 51 percent of the workers in the highest-paying sector — management, professional and related occupations — although a pay gap still exist (women average 80 percent of what their male counterparts make), the article states.
The top-paying field was pharmacist, where the median annual salary for women is $85,644. Next was chief executive with a median salary of $83,356. Lawyer was third on the list with a median salary of $78,468. Oddly, doctor was only sixth on the list with a median salary of $63,960.
