With all the changes going on in the legal field right now, Minnesota Lawyer thought it would be a good idea to take a step back and talk take a look at the feeding ground of our profession — law schools.  To that end, Minnesota Lawyer editor-in-chief Mark Cohen recently interviewed the deans of all four local law schools on topics of interest to the bar and to law students. We filmed the deans’ responses, and will present clips of the interviews in several installments starting today.

The economy is, of course, the major question on everyone’s mind. First-year and second-year law students are having trouble finding summer jobs; new grads are having great difficulty finding legal employment. In the first installment of our legal education video series, the four Minnesota law deans discuss the impact of the economy on students and grads, and what their school is doing to deal with the situation.
