Tonight Finance and Commerce is handing out its first “Minnesotans on the Move” awards, recognizing 40 people from a wide variety of businesses who are poised to make headlines in coming years.
Four of them are from the Twin Cities legal community, and while they might be well known to readers of Minnesota Lawyer, we’re glad to help introduce them to the general business community:
- Martin Lueck of Robins, Kaplan, Miller & Ciresi, who is being recognized for his prominent IP practice;
- Girard Miller of Fulbright & Jaworski, for his pioneering work in alternative energy law;
- Marianne Short of Dorsey & Whitney, for her solid leadership of Minnesota’s largest law firm; and
- Jodi Standke, CEO of legal staffing firm Talon Performance group, which she started from scratch in her home.
